these days in regards to companies going green, and you don't have
to be a company to be green. This concept starts on a personal level
and one where we all need to help. |

the active conservation of our precious resources for present and
future generations. |

of things you should be doing, or maybe doing in order to be more
Green, and help with the present and future environment: |

In the home and
Office:
- Conserve our water by Xeriscaping.
- Maximize your sprinkler time setting.
- Install low flow fixtures - shower heads and low-flow toilet.
- Replace leaking faucets and toilets.
- Wash clothes when you have a full load only.
- Switch to a tankless water heater.
- Take shorter showers.
- Lower the temperature in your water heater tank.
- Wrap your water heater.
- Recycle water.
- Replace old appliances with
Energy
Star efficient
appliances.
Turn off light when you leave a room.
Install electronic proximity switching for lighting controls.
Use energy saving lighting.
Use low power lighting around your premises.
Use solar panels for lighting
Weatherize your homes more.
Replace old windows with energy efficient ones.
Clean furnace filters often.
Lower heaters in the winter and use warm clothes instead.
Clean clothe dryer filters after each cycle.
Compost your kitchen scraps instead of placing them in the
